  10. Description
  11. “Velocity” is an application for the Macintosh which allows you to change velocity value  of incoming MIDI Note On message.
  12. If velocity curve of your MIDI master keybord doesn't match your synth module, by inserting this application in between, it sounds better.

  14. One window has 16 velocity conversion tables for 16 MIDI channel. If there are two or more windows opened, “Velocity” chooses velocity conversion tables in the frontmost window.

  27. “Velocity” is shareware. It may distributed freely as long as it has no potential for profit (direct or indirect) by the distributor. Other distribution arrangements must be made with the author in advance. “Velocity” must be distributed in its original form as the file velocity1.0.0.cpt which expands into these files (•) and folders (/):

  61. How to use
  62. Launch “Velocity” and connect it's IN/OUT port by PatchBay application.
  63. If there is NO window opened, all incoming MIDI message go through to OUT port.
  64. If there is only one window opened, “Velocity” replace the velocty value for all incoming MIDI note on messages accrding to the velocity conversion tables in the window.
  65. If there are two or more windows opened, “Velocity” chooses velocity conversion tables in the frontmost window.
  66. To choose MIDI channel, push one of the buttons labeled "1" through "16".
  67. To change velocity curve, drag anchor point(s) or hit up/down/left/right arrow key.
  68. One-depth Undo is supported for each MIDI channel.
  69. If you want to copy velocity conversion table, drag one of the buttons labeled "1" through "16" to the destination channel button. You can drag it across windows, too.
